Our family business of the Kimmerle group of companies has a company tradition of almost 40 years. Professional competence of building and the requirement of absolute sustainability are the key to our success since the beginning and the base of our corporate philosophy. With over 70 employees, we constantly live up to new challenges.
The company was founded in 1971 by managing director Rudolf Kimmerle, who is still in charge of the company today, in Drillingen on the Danube in Swabia. This is still the location of the company headquarters. By now, there are Kimmerle subsidiaries in Bavaria since 1988 in Tirol/Austria and in Saxony, where the KIM HOTEL DRESDEN and the KIM HOTEL IM PARK welcome their guests high above Dresden.
But the hotel branch is only a small part of the Kimmerle Group. The first projects of the company were the construction of single-family and row homes in Drillingen, Lauingen and Höchstädt at the beginning of the 1970s. The range quickly expanded as for instance in 1974, together with the company "Iran-Bavaria", houses were built in Teheran/Iran.
New fields developed with the emergence of the first retail store chains. Even today, the construction of grocery stores for example is one of the most important business areas of our company. Numerous DIY superstores and halls, grocery stores and office buildings, logistics centres and whole industrial parks belong to the family portfolio today.
The Kimmerle company is still a family business. The sons of Rudolf Kimmerle, Michael and Rudy, work in leading positions of the Kimmerle Group. This tradition as well contributes essentially to our success story, since family businesses think in generations and of sustainability. The generation change additionally creates important momentum and ensures the progress of the company. Whoever shapes his or her own future with his or her own company, develops an operating principle typical for family-run businesses, which exceeds the mere occupational commitment.
